Social Media Networking Classes we offer:

  • Classes are held on a monthly basis (up to 3 classes per quarter) with up to 10 students per class.
    These classes run 4 hours per session.
    Price per person – $200.00

Requirements:

  • Wi-Fi Capable Personal laptop computer
    Basic computer skills & knowledge

The 101 basic classes cover:

  • How to setup a profile
  • How to log in
  • How to connect with people you know
  • All Social Media Tools 101 Classes require “Building Your Social Media Strategy” as a pre-requisite. Example: Facebook 101 requires “Building Your Social Media Strategy” to attend)
  • All Advanced Classes require the “101 Classes” as a prerequisite. (Example: Advanced Facebook requires Facebook 101 to attend)

Each social media tool has been proven to require approximately 32 hours a month after setup to properly maintain for maximum results.  These classes can help you minimize the time it takes to maintain your business online presence in a transparent and authentic manner.

Classes are available for signup now.  There is a minimum of 4 people* for the class to take place.  Seating is limited to 10 people per class.  Sign up today in order to secure your seat in the class of your choice.  Classes are being held at 2515 4th Avenue, Seattle WA 98121, second floor – Fireside Lounge.  Bring your notebook or netbook computer.

1st & 2nd Quarter 2011

Building Your Social Media Strategy:

How to get the best bang for your buck when developing a social media marketing strategy.  We will cover the primary social media tools, why and when to use them as a part of your marketing strategy, learn how to build a consistent profile and design a strategy for connecting with people, both clients and prospects, in an transparent and authentic manner.

(Prerequisite class for specific social media tools (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, et al) classes except by special permission - send an email to “carlanne (@) expectedoutcomes (dot) com”  with reasons for requesting special permission).  Plan to arrive between 8:30 AM and 8:50 AM so we are setup and ready to learn as the 4 hours will be very full of information.  Bring snacks with you if you need to eat during class.  You will receive a Social Media Strategy Kit to take with you for later reference as you follow up on the information learned in this class.

Blogging 101:

Learn about why you should have a blog, about setting up a blog, options on what platform to use, how to write effectively about your business, how to integrate your blog into your website, how to make your blog a website, how to use your blog as a bridge to your business, blogging for money and more!

Plan to arrive between 11:30 AM and 11:50 AM so we are setup and ready to learn as the 4 hours will be very full of information.  Bring Brown Bag lunch with you if you need to eat during class.

Facebook 101:

Learn about setting up a proper profile, finding your friends, privacy settings, Fan Pages, marketing via FaceBook.

(Must have completed Building Your Social Media Strategy prior to taking Facebook 101, except by special permission – send an email to “carlanne (@) expectedoutcomes (dot) com”  with reasons for requesting special permission).  Plan to arrive one-half hour before scheduled start time so we are setup and ready to learn as the 4 hours will be very full of information.  Bring Brown Bag lunch with you if you need to eat during class.   You will leave with a “Facebook Kit”  for later reference as you follow up on what you have learned here in this class.
